The wide spread of the phenomenon of arms in both Upper and Lower Egypt has lead to serious political, economical and social consequences, such as destabilizing the safety and security of the community that is considered one of the main pillars for a civilized society. It has negatively affected the community and caused the people to feel insecure and disturbed their everyday life. There are many causes for this phenomenon such as revenge disputes and firing live ammunition in weddings, both stem from the customs and traditions on which the community was raised. Statistics conducted by The Health and Safety Information Centre, 5 years ago, show the existence of more than 20 thousand firearm piece Upper Egypt, it also showed that approximately 80 people are killed by accident due to misuse of firearms and 200 people are killed yearly due to the spread of firearms; 54% of these deaths were caused due to firing live ammunition in weddings alone, these numbers have without a doubt increased over the years. We need marketing and advertisement specialists to help us create a campaign that’ll make it unacceptable for people to carry arms in weddings.
The statistics conducted five years ago showed that 80 people are killed by accident each year; more than half were killed in weddings by accident due to live ammunition being shot. With the help of your creative campaigns, we can prevent these people’s death and change a wrong tradition in the community.
We need a marketing campaign, a poster design with a clever logo that can be printed, to make the act of carrying arms in weddings socially unacceaptable.
