Can anyone enter the challenge?

No. The lead applicant must have an office registered in the UK or Egypt, however their collaborators can be from outside the UK or Egypt. Innovators can be individuals of 21 years of age or older, entrepreneurs, start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs, students or academics who wish to solve the challenge problem and partner with the Challenge Holder to scale the solution.

How did you select the challenges and themes?

Our challenge themes have been carefully researched and solving these would significantly benefit the Egyptian people, economy and environment. Our Challenge Holders have identified specific and exciting opportunities for you to help with.

Can entrants form teams?

Absolutely. There must be a lead applicant from the UK or Egypt in each team, which can then have up to two further participants. We encourage entrants to form teams or consortia to strengthen their submissions with complementary knowledge and skills.

Can I enter more than once?

Certainly. You can enter your submission to either of the challenges and any of the themes within each challenge. However, we strongly recommend that you direct your submission only at the themes where you see most potential for success. This will help you to develop a stronger submission and increase the chances of your challenge being selected.
