[description] => The Supporting e-Government and Innovation in the Public Administration Project (InnoPA) is one of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) projects in Egypt, which aims to promote e-governance and digital opportunities.
The age group of 15 to 64 years represents 61.9% of Egypt's population; these are more likely to require different public services frequently. This massive crowd in the public services offices represents a heavy burden on governmental employees and obligates long waiting times from the public side. Occasionally, citizens can't find the correct set of official documents required to perform the service, which prolongs the process. As a result, the application process can be exhausting for most of us.

[description] => ‘‘The SwitchMed initiative aims to achieve a circular economy in the southern Mediterranean by
changing how goods and services are produced and consumed. Accordingly, the initiative
provides tools and services directly to the private sector, supports an enabling policy
environment, and facilitates the exchange of information among partners and key stakeholders”.
After having developed the "Open Eco-Innovation Manual for Circular Economy Enablers"
during the year 2021, ARC (Activity Regional Center) MedWaves is now considering the need to
put the methodology into practice through the facilitation of an open eco-innovation program
with the launch of six challenges linked to the circular economy in the “food" and “tourism”
sectors, where different entrepreneurs or start-ups of the territory (South of the Mediterranean:
Egypt, Tunisia, and Spain) can provide solutions through their products or services.
The project addresses the economic challenges that large companies face, identifies open
innovation opportunities, and serves as a facilitator of relationships between corporates,
startups, and green entrepreneurs from the southern Mediterranean, as well as a link between
supply and demand by providing real solutions to by Entrepreneurs or start-ups in the territory
(Southern Mediterranean) capable of solving the challenges posed and developing their
solutions.
